Jo Ann is a marketing communications consultant with over 20 years of experience in corporate communications and advertising. Her OnPoint system assists clients in the development of PowerPoint presentations and key marketing messages. She has B2B and B2C marketing experience across a broad spectrum of industries including global foodservice, insurance, financial services, retail and high-tech. In addition to her involvement in professional associations and service as IABC co-director of programming, Jo Ann is active in community organizations and serves on the board of Samaritan House of Atlanta, a charity that offers employment readiness services to homeless men and women. Her past service to IABC/Atlanta includes several years as co-director of programming.

Part performance art, part business goals, Eric’s client presentations are a must-see. As Director of Strategic Planning, he loves formulating ideas big and small and mapping out strategy to keep clients and Realm on target and flourishing. A former VP of Interactive at Harrison Liefer DiMarco and at Erin/Edwards Communications, Eric was on the front lines of commercial Web development more than 13 years ago. Today, he’s leading Realm into the brave new world of social media. Eric has crafted communication plans across industries for companies like UPS, Georgia-Pacific, Cox Enterprises, the Georgia Ports Authority and SunTrust Banks. When not presenting or in his garden, Eric lends his expertise to IABC/Atlanta and EarthShare of Georgia as Communications Committee chairman.

Lawson CoxLawson Cox

Lawson is Senior Vice President at EventStreams, a company that fuses the technical and artistic aspects of streaming media production. EventStreams produces with the web in mind, and masterfully integrates video into websites, marketing campaigns and corporate intranets. Lawson has extensive experience developing websites and online communications, as well as a wide range of print publications. In the past, he has held positions in public relations, marketing communications, investor communications and account services. He has been a member of IABC since 1997 and has served on the Atlanta board of directors for eight terms (2000-2004, 2010-2012). Lawson also has acted as the chapter webmaster since 2000.

Tori is an award-winning marketing and communications professional who helps clients in health care, financial services, consumer packaged goods and digital media industries understand their customers and tell their stories. She holds an MBA in Accounting from Ken Blanchard College of Business at Grand Canyon University and a bachelor’s degree with honors from Temple University’s Annenberg School of Journalism. Tori shares her writing and leadership talents with several local and international professional and charitable organizations. Prior to becoming the vice president of finance, Tori served for two terms as vice president of communications for IABC/Atlanta.

Terry Cerisoles

Terry Cerisoles is vice president of communications for the Technology Operations division of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. In her current role since 2000, Cerisoles has led technology-focused communications for many of the company’s critical technical initiatives, such the build-out of Turner Studios’ digital production facility, the real-time migration of 19 entertainment networks across their midtown Atlanta campus, the rollout of TNT and CNN’s high-definition networks and, most recently, CNN’s worldwide transition to file-based production. Her articles on production facilities and workflow change management have appeared in broadcast industry trade magazines. She was previously director of international operations for Turner Sports, where she spent 15 years leading the broadcast operations team for the Olympics. She is passionate about communication and technology and founded the IABC Atlanta’s Technology Special Interest Group. Previously, Terry served as vice president of marketing for the chapter.

Kate Modolo

Kate Modolo is director of Corporate Communications & Culture at ExpressJet Airlines, the largest regional airline in the world, with more than 2,200 daily flights doing business as Delta Connection, United Express and Continental Express. In this ever-evolving role, Kate has been the successful architect of strategies to connect people through executive communications, branding, internal publications, operational communications, labor communications, rewards and recognition, and more. She facilitated the development of her airline’s corporate brand, founded the company’s community outreach program and most recently, put her communications ideas to work in helping ExpressJet successfully navigate the largest merger in the regional airline sector. With undergraduate (psychology) and graduate (PR) degrees from Syracuse University, Kate’s northern blood runs orange, but she’s called Atlanta home for the past seven years.
